A brilliant experience for the over 60s

I was terrified and froze when it came time to take off. Two staff came with me and one held my hand all the way until I was safely strapped in. The guy who took me down talked to me and reassured me all the way. 

Thanks guys for the experience of a lifetime, I could never have done it without your gentle kindness and support. I am so proud of myself now and it's all thanks to Fethiye Travel Air Sports. 

My kids will be dead impressed.

My 14 year old daughter and I took the plunge and went paragliding with Fethiye Sports and it was awesome. Worth every penny. It was very professional and the pilots were all very friendly and made you feel safe and relaxed. 

We loved it so much we wish we had done it again before we came home!

You must do this if you ever visit Ölüdeniz or Hisaronu!!

Great paragliding pilots, prices changed, beware of motion sickness!

We para-glided with the excellent Fethiye Air Sports pilots and would certainly recommend them. I wasn't expecting to suffer from motion sickness but wasn't the only one in our flight group to do so, I hadn't anticipated that this was a possibility and would have bought some medication had I known - a tip for others. 

This is not a cheap experience, we were charged £65 per head for the jump (£30 deposit in advance which is fair enough) or you can pay the equivalent balance in lira. Photographs which we had expected to cost 150TL were actually 200TL which was about £27 each at the time.

There are multiple companies who provide paragliding excursions in Oludeniz, like many other people I booked with Sky Sports because of their excellent Tripadvisor ratings, after all your safety is not something you want to compromise on! On reflection I'm sure there are other companies who are just as good at perhaps a lower price point.

One other comment, I did purchase top-up activity insurance from the UK because our holiday insurance didn't cover paragliding and the insurance provided by Fethiye Air Sports is limited.
