So amazing I went twice!
I researched throughly on internet before my holiday to ensure that I picked the best paragliding company. Fethiye outdoor Sports had loads of great reviews and totally lived up to my expectations. I emailed them to book in advance and the whole process was explained thoroughly and was very smooth....quick responses to all my questions. So far, so good.
On the day, everything was just as smooth. I completed my paperwork and then we loaded up for the journey to the top of Babadag mountain. This takes around 30 minutes or so. Once at the top, everything was so calm and professional. I was introduced to my pilot (Osman, great guy - very friendly and reassuring). He spoke to me about instructions and what we were going to do. I thought that this would be the time for me to get nervous, but no - just excited. Onjr set me up in the harness and got my helmet on, making sure everything was secure.
Then his colleagues double checked and we were ready to go. The team from Fethiye air Sports also assist when you take off to ensure everything goes smoothly and you get the best experience. The flight was absolutely breathtaking and Osman was full of knowledge, patiently answering all my questions, pointing out places and landmarks of interest. We even saw a turtle from quite high up - he must have been massive in the sea!). I had a go at steering but didn't do acrobatics in case of motion sickness.
The landing was so smooth, very skilfull. I loved the whole experience so much that I made a repeat booking for two days later. Cannot recommend Fethiye Sports highly enough, I am planning to go back to Turkey and would use them for all my excursions. So friendly, so professional and gave me so much confidence to try something new.
